What we do

Grow from local seed

We raise young trees from locally sourced seed at our nursery in Maltlands.

Trees for the town

Our trees are grown for planting around Weston, from parks and school grounds to hedgerows, orchards and gardens.

Bring people together

The nursery is community-led. We'd love you to lend a hand, whatever your experience.

Our story so far

Since 2023, local people have been turning a once-disused space next to Maltlands Play Area into a community tree nursery, with support from Weston-super-Mare Town Council and North Somerset Council.

More about us

8.2%

of Weston-super-Mare was covered by trees, according to a 2014 North Somerset Council survey. The Town Council has committed to planting and establishing at least 10,000 trees by 2030, and we're growing trees to help.
